well- you got a star for this-in fact 5,,,and i don't know the answer,as i don't have a clue what goes on in other peoples heads.
sometimes a question is interesting enough for YOU to look up the topic,as you would also like to know-so in essence N)-not weird at all if the question is thought provoking-otherwise people would not read philosophy or psychology unless they new the answers already.

I'll sometimes star a question if I think its interesting or I'd like to know the answer myself but don't personally have an answer.
If I do that it's usually because it's the asker has made a point in asking a question and I agree with said point, but can't elaborate on it.
Sometimes I will give a star to one of my contacts but not answer. This lets them know I read the question but didn`t really have an answer for them.

It's true, I've noticed that myself. Maybe it's people with multiple accounts starring themselves. Also, often the 'ghost' questions haven't been displayed on the main page which is why they receive no answers. Who knows.
I've done it a few times..starred and then forget to answer. I'm easily distracted. x
No, I do it myself sometime. If I have read the existing answers and decide there is nothing I can add or contribute to what has already been said, but think it was an interesting or provocative question, I might give it a star before moving on.
Yea I do find it a bit weird,maybe they thought it was a good question but couldn't think of an answer.

I sometimes just put a star when the answers are all good and I couldn't improve on them, if it is a good question of course.
some people find that a question is interesting thinking to answer it then .does something else and forgets to complete it ..i find this very.............
