Question: The only opinion that would cause me to lose respect for a person would be my opinion. I would hope I would be wise enough to always hear someone else's reason for something. Not to hear the other side is close minded or shallow (my opinion).
Hearing the other side don't mean I would agree with them. Imagine a world where we all agreed. Some of the smartest men in the world (Scientist, Attorneys, Doctors,& Preachers) they all disagree on some issues. Its about disagreeing agreeably.

No, one opinion would not cause me to loose disrespect for someone. My friends and I have very different views much of the time. We respect each others differences and move on.
It would depend on the opinion. I consider myself a pretty open-minded person, willing to "agree to disagree", but there are a few things that are "dealbreakers" for me.

No, opinions are like rear ends, everyone has one. Some are informed, some are biased and some are just plain ignorant. It is part of taking the good with the bad.

Sometimes when you learn to disagree, and stick around and continue to be friends, some people will begin to see your opinion.
Racism, human and animal rights are a make or break with me. People's views on the above mentioned will decide if I hang around them or not. Anything else I can live with. But if you're a racist person, have no care for people around you or the furry ones you share the world with, I have no time for you.

I am pretty open minded but if someone said they loved treating animals like shite and liked killing or harming them. I'd lose all respect quicker than I could blink.

I 'd sensibly hear the reasons.. There r always 2 sides of a coin..We 'd vouch the other side too..
I dont mind hearing a opinion because i love to hear others thoughts... but it hurts when they turn there opinion into a judgement... and they say its there opinion... but deep down you know that its just a judgement....
