Can a person's lies only be covered up for so long before they are revealed?!

Yes, lying is not the best way to getting out of something UNLESS IT REALLY BAD. And why lie if you can tell the truth. "My lies speak through my mouth, though the truth will be found" or "There is a maze, a wrong turn is a lie but the way to get out (a.k.a to get out of the problem) is to reveal the truth" and "Everytime you lie, it's -1 life because you feel bad after it".

It's extremely rare that a lie can be hidden forever. Especially if it's something that effects others. The truth will out.
