holding hands and once in a blue moon a kiss
Well....Gone with the Wind...even though I hate that movie. Although I am sure if I was into watching old movies, there would be some much better examples, Bogart and Bacall for example.
Holding hands and walking in the park.

fluffy round dresses.. umbrelas.. and tall hats... even feathers...

think of, the guy out plowing his fields all day, the woman gathering eggs, milking cows, feeding the chickens, slopping the hogs... All while Barefooted of course.
I see Cary Grant..I hear people saying "darling" to each other..a long wait before the first kiss or first night together..men courting women..poetry..flowers.
Candles, soft jazz, fine dining, good champagne, light conversation, and a lot of flirting with an exquisite Lady.
That phrase reminds me of the opening of the show "Love Connection"
I think of Jimmy Stewart in "It's A Wonderful Life" where he's sitting in the parlor with his hat in his hand kind of mumbling and not really knowing what he's doing. :)
Asking permission from dad to date the daughter.... chocolates and flowers.... curfew at 9..... love notes/letters.....
The Notebook (probably)
tango... I consider it the most interesting dance of all and its sound reminds me of a lost world. And i know there are lots of videos out there about it, but this is my favorite of all
