Just because someone answers your question doesnt mean that they thought it was a good question and some people use the star for what they are intended for.
Maybe your question wasn't that important to them like this one. I'll give you a star anyway.
your question has to peak a certain person's interest. I get the same thing. I have tons of replies but not everyone stars them.

Just make a few different profiles, and then go back under a different name, and star your question. Be more then mediocre.
For me the quetion has to be thought provoking in order to receive a star, not just mention the word star or ask a question like Meatballs or Sausages?? But it seemed to work for you here because look at all the stars you got
