What is the speed of darkness...?!

Question: Darkness has never ended, therefore cannot be measured until its end. It began in:-

Genesis 3:7
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that
they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

And will end in Revelation 21:23 - 25

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

It has no speed. The speed of light has more speed.

as slow as a snail crawling up a ramp smeared with peanut butter

There isn't one. Darkness is what is left behind when the light has gone.

good question

Since darkness is merely the absence of light I guess it's 186,000 miles per second.

It's the inverse of the speed of light, or how fast the devil can run.

nice and slow.........

My guess is as fast as light... since as fast as light goes away, darkness ensues. So if light goes from a source at 186,000 mps, darkness would have to come in at the end of that light just as fast... right?

when you are on the same dark road driving and Britney Spears hits you head on and keeps on driving saying " my bad and I think I might of hit something Y'all."

You have quit an imagination, got me to think

The speed of the Earth's rotation for the next morning and so on.

i can tell u the speed n its distance...
just a hand away frm the switch

whats the speed of youre stupidity

Negative speed of light.

darkness goes away a lot slower than it came...

darkness is the absence of light and is not active so as such, it has no speed. However, if you are questioning how rapidly it appears after light has vanished, it will come at the exact same speed of light as it fills the void. Any after glow is not real light, it was only captured by your eyes, so darkness is instant as soon as the light goes.

In other words, you can flip my switch anytime, baby. LOL Good question.

i don't think it has a speed.

~peace~

Darkness exists with the absence of light so i would guess the same speed, because when the light leave the darkness comes in........

There is no speed of darkness because it is the absence of light.

charlie murphy "darkness" fast lightning fast. coooold bloooooded. i know cause "i'm rick james bi--h
