no....for what...your not gonna fall in..actually its benefiting the both of us... i can just sit..and you dont have to strain your back by lifting both the lid and the seat

If I ever sat on the toilet lid for any reason, I probably would, but I never do, so it's always up.

yes in feng shui they say you will lose money if the seat is up, try telling that to the rest of my family though
i usually do....just cuz thats the way i usually find the toliet seat...its basically how i find it when i walk into a restroom =)
Always. In fact I've seen some flush systems where the activating button is behind the lid, so you have to replace them tidily to be able to flush. I want one of those!
Plus - the flushing action throws so many noxious things into the air breathed by the user that I'm surprised so many people leave the lid up and breathe in the air above the pan.
