Have you ever gone Ice fishing and wished the ice would just crack?!

Question: You know that reminds me of a story. When I was a boy a long long time ago me and a friend went ice fishing on lake Whatabayashi up in the far north,we were fishing for hours on end and catching a lot of fish for the village people and the nightly fish fry,and as the day went by we didn't realize that the temperature had risen to 42 degrees and as we sat there in the hut we built for fishing all of a sudden we heard a cracking sound from afar, and didn't really think about it at first but as it neared us we then realized we were going swimming in very short time, and we didn't go swimming we got off the ice safety and had a find fish fry that night and the peoples were happy. P.S. Although we did loose are fishing hut we built,it's now on the bottom of Lake Whatabayashi.
