Wow - I'm sorry - I can see that this bites the big one for you.
Yes - was getting hate mail every day for awhile there - random I think - I play with them awhile and then either make friends or bite a limb off and eat it. I find it impossible to take this stuff seriously. Rarely get nasty posts (to the best of my knowledge - LOL!) but when I do I just make mock (it's just so fun!), same as with the letters - and I don't care a snap for thumbs down, everyone's entitled to an opinion - though I appreciate that my posse's got my back and I do the same for them.
My advice - make fun of them - a lot - just point out the absurdity which I'm sure is there - unleash your creativity and just go to town - make jokes when they try and upset you and laugh at them. You'll have a great time doing it, and the more you do it, the more ridiculous you will realize they are and the less you will care what they say, do or think - and I suspicion somewhere along the way they will be completely demoralized and routed.
Also, on Y!A make your Q & A private and block when you must.

Oh I have been so many times I've lost track. It's cyber crap, nobody I know personally would mess with me like that or be so friggin disrespectful.
Some random rude guy who didn't like one of the answers to his questions. He would send countless emails calling me names until I reported him and got him suspended, then I blocked his email address.

I was CLONED yesterday, first time ever in my over 2 years in this account. It was done by the
"Ask a question, son" crew.
Whoever it was had stolen my pic and my "about me" section.
My friends and I put a QUICK halt to that.
I guess that means I'm "famous" huh, being cloned?

That is what you have to expect when opinion is open to interpretation by others of lesser mental or emotional stability and are unable to accept an answer at face value!

I think we've all gotten hate mail or had questions asked about us, etc. You don't truly belong in P&S until you've had a couple of stalkers and at least 3 hate mails sent to you.
I was told that young children might take my Q's seriously.

I have received my share of email hate that was random but there is a profile out there that will say hateful things about me in answers ...as if our difficulties were my fault not his failings.
I get more misunderstood love, than anything.

I was brutally beaten in Cats once because I stated people who can't afford vet care shouldn't have pets. Then I was blocked so I couldn't defend myself from the hater who asked his next q about me. I used my junk mail account to pommel the brut!
I've been attacked by many an "Internet Gangsta". You know, people who talk a bunch if junk on the Internet, but would s*** their pants if they actually saw you...
I don't take anything too seriously on here. Or at least I try not to. Sometimes I get my feelings hurt but even if I deserve it, I didn't do it on purpose. This chatting/did not ask or answer question is really boring and sometimes the best way to answer a question is with another question. :)
In another life (suspended account) I used to hang out in Politics... There are some crazy mean people in there. I used a different avatar name back then, made me a sitting duck for haters of the military. It took Yahoo almost 24 hours to get the question and the answerer's deleted. I don't know what happened to the people, but at least their assaults were removed. I left politics and went to Decorating & Remodeling and somehow got suspended... only to earn the top contributor badge a few days later... tried to get my account back, Yahoo said no way... Still don't know the exact reason why.
Pretty Kitty... that's what they did to me, totally ganged up on me and it was some pretty rank stuff they were saying. I did the same thing as you, created another account to get the comments deleted and eventually the entire question.
I was cloned by a stupid guy ,,, he seemed to have stopped after two weeks but I'm still afraid to take fans.
I prefer to call it random acts of jealousy not hate, I guess I am still in denial. I just keep on keeping on and do not let what others think bother me.

I've been verbally and physically attacked online and out in the real world. I just see it as this: If people are so consumed and make it their mission in wanting to bring me down, then I must be doing something right!

no i havent but ive been reading some of ur questions and wat ppl have been saying about them and i dont think thats right so just tough it out and if it continues email them or something and figure out who it is if u kno them and confront them.
