Why are gay men more financially stable than Lesbians?!
Question: I know a couple of gay men and drive fancy cars, and nice fancy clothes. and I know a couple of lesbians who are barely sqeezing by. not very fashionable and always low on cash? hmm... what do you think?

wow, good question... but from my own personal experience...i know alot of lesbians who are very uneducated, have no higher expectations then what they have already set forth, and feel that they need to dress like a man when going on interviews, in public, etc..and that pushes their chances away with employers. Now this is just from my own group i use to be around...by association rather... the gay men i know are better capable of acing an interview and most bring life and creativity to the work place. they dont dress to deter being hired, they dress to impress... but it varies with everyone though... but i do think both do well in the workplace, i mean examples of lesbians being successful..."the L word, Ellen Degenerous,etc"

good question . . . . but my answer would be that there isnt a lot of corporate heads that are lesbians hence not getting any special favors if you know what i mean. ;)
I don't think its the actual income they have but what they do with their income.
Gay men tend to be flashy. They like to dress nice and drive nice cars.
Lesbians don't really care much about their apearance.

I think you need to step outside of you're little box and not think that the only lesbian couple you know are how all lesbian couples are. Me and my gf are making it just fine, we both have nice cars and make our own and always have extra cash.

Lesbians aren't more broke. They are more smart. They save their money and wear flannel. Gay men splurge on clothes and therefore eat Ramen Noodles. Or Raymond's Noodle.
I think its because most lesbians are not very attractive females & are not able to get good paying jobs & most of them are not inclined to work inthe fields that do pay good.It seems to me that both the gay & lesbians sterotype their roles as males & female inacurrately in that they overplay the roles of gender.Most men dont chew tobacco,cuss,& go around sloppy & dirty like many lesbians indicate & most women are not as prissy,emotional,& neat as most gays indicate.This my observation & if you disagree thats okay but be civil.This my opinon & i could be wrong but would like to hear any comment.

I know you edited to say you didn't mean all, but your original question did not say, why are the 2 gay men I know more financially stable than the 2 lesbians I know. You did mean all and just got caught in it.
