In what ways have you "played" with occupied bee nests?!

I don't play with bees. I love sharks.
I threw rocks at them when I was younger...not smart
Well my family farms bees, so we took the honey.
I emptied a can of wasp killer into the nest.
LMFAO..... As a kid, we thought it was funny to hit the nest with a stick and run..... Or to try and catch a Bee in your hand while it was sipping nectar..... Boy, were we stupid..... LOL..... I know better now..... LOL.....
Stand close, bang the nest and say 'boo' usually worked for me.

I'm scared of bees...
I usually play the "stay-as-far-away-as-possible-because-be... stung-is-unpleasant" game.
With my Camera. Lot's of close up photos of swarms of bees in/on their nests and on other objects.
(but we are losing too many bees.....so sad)
Last summer I was walking across my yard and stepped on a ground nest without knowing it. All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my leg and looked down and realized I was being stung by what I later counted as thirty stings. I brushed those off but realized I was still being swarmed by bees so I ran inside. Unfortunately, I was wearing somewhat baggy shorts and shirt so I felt a couple more stings when I was inside. I stripped off my clothes and found a few more bees. Then one more just flew out of my shorts that were in a pile on the ground and stung me on my forearm. That ended up being the one that really swelled up and forced me to go to the doctor. I didn't have any insurance so I had to pay for the doctor's bill. That sucked worse than the bee stings.
I got stung by a bee trying to get it away from my mom and it all ended up getting stung on the bone of my finger,so I don't want to take chances of touching or even going near a beehive.
