I dont think I'd choose a celebrity, most of them don't do their own decorating in the first place. I would perhaps choose one of their interior designers... if I saw that they did a good job. but generally designing your room should be about creating a place that fits your life-style and your tastes, not just replicating something that looks cool.

I love Shakira's music and she seems to have a cool sense of style.
I think Diane has a style that would probably suit my own. I could be wrong but that's what I think.
