I agree with it.
It's my life and if I choose to end it because I'd rather not put my loved ones through my suffering, then it should be my right to do just that.

I think it should totally be up to the patient, I don't think it should be a legal issue.
It should be made legal . Dr's say they don't want to play God but every time the resuscitate someone they are effectively doing just that . Anyone with a terminal illness should have the right to choose to die .
I believe if the person really wanted to die then its their choice but only if life was seen as a lost by not just the person but everyone else around and close to them
There's a Dutch doctor who gives a thing to people (in their will) to sleep and die. I think it's bad but if the person is completely normal to make that decision then it's them who are choosing to do that so it's okay.
I believe it is a persons right to choose. However, before it should be done, they should meet with an additional doctor to be certain there is no hope for quality of life, plus a counselor either from a religious faith of choice or a professional for one session to see if they appear to be making a sane choice.
Do whatever the hell you want. When I go, I want to be watching one of my favorite shows or something. ^.^
i'm totally against it. i truly want to spend the last 5 years of my life sh*tting myself in bed. to have a doctor end your suffering is so undignified.
I think as long as the person dying is saying they're ready to go, and the family has had time to say goodbye and are okay with it, than fine.
Personally I would not want to live if I had to take pills everyday and be cared for. If I'm going to be handicapped than pull the plug because it's not a life worth living. I'd be miserable and that'd make everyone else around me miserable as well. that's not life.
