So funny you ask. Here at this base near Mosul, Iraq, I felt spring in the temperature of the breeze this morning, and the pigeons were coo-ing like crazy up in the trees. But then it turned cold and dusty. :(

No, we just had a big storm in CT on Friday, then it rained and turned to ice that night. It wasn't fun coming home from work that day. Half the snow is still around and it's only 45 degrees.

Definitely - here in Essex England the sun is shining, the Spring flowers are out and the birds are nesting already. It is so lovely - yippee Spring has arrived early!
I'm in Wales, UK. We've had really weird weather this last 12 months. We've had summer, autumn and spring, but our really cold winters seem to have got lost somewhere along the way. Usually it is freezing in February, but this year we've had warm sunny days. Flowers that don't usually show their little heads until March/April have been growing for a couple of weeks and little creatures are coming out of hibernation. This is sad because, while the weather may be spring-like for a few days, it turns cold again suddenly, leaving many confused birds, insects and plants.
I envy you the snow, we haven't had any decent snow for years. It must be lovely where you live with the extremes of weather, I don't think we'll see that again here.
