It depends... You obviously have to do it from the sounds of it.

If it was something I HAD to do, by myself and I didn't want to do it, I would tell my self that after it's done, I won't have to deal with it any more.

Will it be beneficial to your life after? If it is, then think of that aspect.

I usually ask myself: What's the worst that can happen? Just think of all the REAL problems you could face, like a family member becoming really ill. I just thinkg of things like that and it makes me realise that on the grand scale of things, it's not worth worrying about.

I hope this helps. It works for me though.

just take a few deep breaths, then get up and do it. lol

i think of something worse than it!

by thinking about the consequences of me not doing it.

Whats the motivation for doing it, there must be one. Focus on the end goal and the results it will bring.

i think it's willpower and maybe you should listen to your intuition..
it all depends on what exactly you are talking about.

just think,if you get it out the way now, it won't be there tommorow.

Just go and do it, as the sooner you do the sooner it will be over and done with and you can stop worrying about it.

just think about more bad than it

Ask yourself do you really have to do it.............if you do just take a deep breath and just go for it and after you will feel so much better and glad you found the strength to do it

OMG Is it that thinking about it makes you feel this way or the actually experience of what you have to do makes you feel that way?

Cause if it's the thought of it...then stop thinking of it and get it over with but if it is what you have to do is making you sick then you might need to re-think doing it because in that case even when it is done with you still will be ill willed about it!! Just think about it!!
My thoughts

suck it up and do it.

I think about my Mom she is such a strong woman and always always puts others first, she went through so much!!! I am thinking what is my problem compare to hers she gone through during the years. I tell myself its a shame if I dont face what i need to being scared or not!!!!

This is a very good question but hard to answer without knowing specifically what it is you dread?

I have a secret that I share with hardly anyone. I am a senior manager for a UK charity and I dread public speaking! It is something I have to do all the time, as part of my job. I haven't really found a solution to the gut churning fear and, when it comes to it, I don't think anyone would know how scared I am. I think very deep breaths help and I use Bach Flowers Rescue Remedy.

I rationalise the fear by telling myself that I have no choice and I have to do this as part of my job. It is the dread that bothers me and it can last up to a week before the event. So, I guess I don't really have an answer because I cannot overcome my own fear. I think the old saying is true: "It takes more thinking about than doing" Good luck.

Hun you just have to bite down and get it over with. Just think of the feeling you will have when you finallu sort it and get it over and done with x
