Answers: Best thing: Socialising, everyone is your best friend when you go out, even complete strangers

Worst thing: Government, has got to be one of the most corrupt ones in the world!

Best: It's really lovely in the countryside, and everybody seems to think that we're hilarious.

Worst: People assume that I am stupid. They are usually correct.

The best I think from a woman who was brought up in the UK, and lived here for 3 years only, the relaxing way of life, people are very friendly and generous and seem generally a lot happier, I am sure its manic in the cities like everywhere else, the worst may sound trivial but the crappy television, thank goodness for satellite TV

The explosion of corruption within government.

best? u can go clubbing at 18
worst?
there are people murdered everyday in my neighborhood
young people are brutal, vicious and thieves
foreign workers are taking over so bad, the signs are starting to be written in polish
40% or more are alchohlics or drinking since a very young age

it bites

It is above sea level.
This answers both sides of the question and for all you boring buggers it is a joke!

BEST: everybody knows everboday(but that could be bad too!) good for socialising and the long school holidays!!

WORST: ppl americans in particular think that ireland is the size of a 1 euro coin and can travel all around it in 3 days! and the assumption that there is no tall ppl because of those dam leprechans!!

the best thing about ireland
the people
the craic
far enough away from england
close to scotland
and that when some one says hello to you in the street you are allowed to say hows it going with out looking odd

POTATOES GOOD -----------BAD THING THEY HAVE ALL THEIR EYES SPYING ON US

best: you can go clubbing and drinking legally when your 18,
people think we're friendly, everyone likes the irish.... the list goes on and on

worst : the weather and the fact that everyone thinks your an alcoholic!!!

best: the fact that where i live is a very close-knit community, so everyone knows everybody and they help you out when you need it. Also, the fact that there is so much green grass everywhere, i just love that. Although, most of the towns near me are building so many houses there'll be no more grass left by the time i'm thirty.

worst:all the polish, latvians and lithuanians taking over the whole place. Now, no matter where you go there'll be some foreigner walking past or serving you in a shop. Also, they are taking up all the jobs, and yet people wonder why there are so many people on the dole!?!?
