How do you justify...?!

Question: ...who you are, and the way you live your life?

Do you think about others, or about yourself more?
Why? =oD

Answers: ...who you are, and the way you live your life?

I am learning to think more about myself since in the past I was always more concerned of others and I suffered both emotionally and physically. I still care about others but I do care more about myself. I don't feel as though I need to justify myself to anyone.

i dont have to justify who i am or the way i live to anyone. as long as my conscience is clear i am happy, i tend to think more of others than myself

I think about others

No excuses, no justification and certainly no apologies. I pay attention to the opinion of others but I pay more attention to mine

i dont have to justify who i am because no one's judgement matters except God's judgement on me.

I am a giver rather than a taker, and I do tend to put other peoples needs before my own, only I wish I didn't sometimes

i dont justify myself to no one, as long as my family are all right then nothing else matters,

The lack of money and the lack of money

dont have to justify myself to anyone,, its my life and i live it as i please..

i live my life the best i can but i make mistakes the same as every other human being also i guss i think about others all the time to being a mental health nurse what about you though???

I don't justify who I am to anyone.
I usually put other peoples needs before my own. I get very little respect (from most people, but not everyone) but I don't really care anymore. I do know how to look after myself though!

I don't justify my life - I just live it.

When I trained as a counsellor I learnt what the difference was between apathy, sympathy and empathy.

An example

Someone is stuck in a hole.

An apathetic person walks straight past.

A sympathetic person jumps in the hole with them - meaning neither can get out.

An empathic person stays outside the hole and reaches down with their hand to help the person out.

So to answer your question - in everyday life I will choose whichever option best suits me at the time!

It's hard not to think about yourself...let's be real!...I mean hey It's me here doing the thinking...but I do my best to put others needs in the proper perspective...& I know that often my needs can wait when you get right down to it....I am working on being patient! Needs are more important than things...for sure...not everyone sees it that way though....I can sacrifice things...& often wait on my needs. I want the best for my family & friends.
