If you dont vote for ideas/parties you believe in, Bcoz you'v been brainwash!

Question: ...are the parties&ideas you believe in, ever going to grow and Become the mainstream?

why not stop worrying about how others are voting, and just vote for what you believe in?

isnt it time a breeze of Evolution blew through politics --and woke the politicians up a little to the real task of delivering a better world?

I think that we should vote for whichever party we believe has the best policies and the best competence to lead the country. Perhaps people don't tend to vote for theri chosen party because they feel there is no point - our electoral system tends to produce a two party system, making it difficult for smaller parties to gain popularity. I think we should revert our electoral system to that of a more proportional one - where the every party is guarenteed at least one saet and then at least everybody is represented in Parliament. However, this could cause problems as it could lead to extremist parties like the BNP gaining influence. Who knows -if everybody voted for their true favoured party, perhaps the number of votes will go up? You have to at least try.
