Yes i did stop and think in 1957 aged then 57, that i had worked too hard chasing ￡￡￡s i decided it was time to retire.
and bought a bungalow in Highcliffe Dorset and modenised it; that took 7 weeks. It was then that i decided i had made a very big mistake, then started another business. This time though i stopped chasing ￡￡￡s; worked fewer hours, took longer holidays and enjoyed life much more. In 1967 i had a thrombosis and had to retire. i never regreted it. That was when i forgot to start yet again.
