When alone, are you brave during the day and apprehensive at nights?!

Question: ...what do you do to alleviate, the apprehension?

Answers: ...what do you do to alleviate, the apprehension?

I used to be nervous at nights, but I've been on my own a long time now and I'm not nervous anymore. Try turning on the TV or stereo, so you're not hearing every bump in the night. I also used to run a fan when I slept, just for the white noise. Try leaving a light on so you don't feel alone in the dark. If you can (and you want one), consider a pet to keep you company.

it depends on what your are apprehensive about? I try to problem solve or have a friend come over if I need help

I can be. Just think to myself I'm fine and you are just freaking yourself out. Then I settle down.

Yes, indeed. I just turn on the Alarm system at night to keep me safe.

There is nothing in the dark that's not in the light.. No reason to be more nervous simply because the sun has gone down...

I HATE being by myself during the nights, I'm married but my husband is military and therefore gone often. We live in a wooded area as well which is creepy.
I alleviate it by keeping a shotgun by my bed.
I'm not even joking. And I do feel better with it.

nothing nicer than being alone. no one to bother you.
why be apprehensive?

I'm always brave. God is with me.

I have no problem with the "nights", because I have an American Pitbull and a Smith & Wesson 32/20.
