Question: Our son will be turning 16 in march and as one of his gifts my husband and I want to purchase him a queen size bed. Do you think this bed would be appropriate for a 16 year old boy? With a nice comforter set... not the ugly one as shown on the photo.

Yes! Its perfect. Good job on choosing. Im actually looking for a new bed too. Im 18 years old on a twin mattress! Horrible. Hope your son likes it..

yes I think that's good. as long as that's what he wants..I know if he gets that and it's not really what he wanted he might be dissapointed..even though he may need it, it's his 16th bday and he might want other things like clothes..but maybe I'm wrong..try hinting about it maybe haha but yes that is a nice bed.
Hm...it depends on what he likes and his personallity. Some boys might like it, but i'd say most boys wouldn't.
