stuff that has a good beat makes be wanna dance- Usually Hip Hop. Some smooth R&B makes me feel connected like, i could relate, or some good old skool rap too like Tupac, Biggie, does the same.
I also listen to classical, but i have to divide it, not all classical is the same. Some of it can fall asleep to, and others i cant because it gets loud, or dissonant.

I've gone as far as a couple of years without listening to music...due to working, being in school, housework, watching TV and puting...
but IF I had musing playing...it would depend on the song/music...I'm very particular...and shut the radio off as soon as I don't like a song...that's just me...I'd rather read a book or watch the hummingbirds on the porch instead of listening to music :)
