Help! Ideas of fun things to do?!
Question: I have the day to myself (my friends and boyfriend are working until tonight). My family doesn't live in town. What fun things could I do on the cheap? It is fairly cold out! I'm just feeling sort of blue, need ideas to get my butt out of here and doing something fun! Looking for out of the ordinary ideas. I live close to St. Louis, if that helps.

Did you have a hobby when you were a kid that you since gave up? Maybe collecting certain items, making certian things or a fav. toy as a kid. Reminding ourselves of fun things from the past can be alot of fun. Maybe look around town for something like that. It's also nice to go after a food/desert that you love but haven't had in years. go to the mall.. rollar skating rink...movies...prank call ppl..lol
Take your MP3.. go for a long walk.
You wouldnt believe how many things you realise and think about when you go on a personal walk..
If youre lucky youll meet cool people :)
hang out at home rent a few movies and pig out.... or go to a movie theater:]
Shopping.
go get your nails done or spenda a day at the spa
go to a matinee movie
go to a coffee shop with a good book or magazine
go to a unique book store
hang out with a friend or family member you haven't seen in awhile
do what you love doing but normally people turn you down when you bring it up :)
Play a simple board game while listening to music.
sorry i don't know where st. louis is. there are lots of llama parks around. it may sound wierd but llamas are amaising creatures. its cheap to get in and llamas are so adorable. don't worry they don't spit. plus, i bet not many of your friends have been there.
Go to the movies, play paintball, go shopping or go on a sightseeing tour.

The Art museum in Forest park is a great time or the Science center. Both free and you can waste an entire day. Even try the history museum in the park (can't think of the name ) not the one at the arch (to much of a tourist spot). If all else fails my wife said you can drop by for pizza and hostess cupcakes for a culinary good time. We're about 40 minutes due east of downtown. Oh ...or you could watch a movie I saw last night from Blockbuster, Fido, its a campy comedy about Zombies in an idyllic little town in the 40's or 50's.Anyway if your coming over call first.
