Why arent my stars working?!
Question: Im not at the daily limit- not even close but when I go to star a question it just kinda turns yellow for a second but doesnt do anything else! sniffle....its broekn! Any way to fix that or do I just have to wait it out????

I have seen that happen. All I do is "click" the mouse button real hard and it usually works. Sometimes you need to wait for the page to be completely filled-in or redrawn. Depending on what browser you are using, it might say "Done" on the bottom line. Wait for that before you click to add a star.
You have to wait it out, sometimes mine does the same thing. what I did was star the question by not opening it and it works fast.
