Why do some people spend so much time trying to analyze useless information inst!
Question: Knowledge is power. The more information you can gather, the better off you are. People sit there and think about how to act next and what to do about the problem because their main objective is to do the task once and to do it right. Whereas if you didn't stop and think about something, you would be rushing into it not prepared for what comes next. There are always gonna be problems. People just want to foresee them before they risk something.

Because most of the time we have the solution to the problem, we just don't have it in us to, or want to fix it, so we "beat around the bush" instead of facing the truth. That would be my guess.
