Doesn't it seem generic and less personal?!

Question: When people say "love you" or "love ya" than when they say "I love you."?

Answers: When people say "love you" or "love ya" than when they say "I love you."?

Oh absolutely! I've said 'Love ya, Love you, or Luv ya to many people but when I say, "I love you.", it means so much more and I only say it to very important people in my life... my very best friends, my sisters, son, and especially my b/f, Gary.

And he wouldn't ever just say, "Love ya." to me. We aren't buddies, we are 'in love'.

Definitely. Especially if it's coming from your significant other.

Yes it does. I would say it to a friend but never to a spouse.

Yes, it does, but it is less embarrassing to say love ya - less of a commitment.

no, to me it's the same thing
