ha yea i play hockey and when my parents arent around i would put my skates on and skate on the hard wood floors. since my house was a huge circle i could go really fast and not stop

Yea I have, fun to say the least.

And was a Dean to a Torville - many years ago.
But now have concrete floors - on which it is not advisable slip or slide upon. I've broken a couple of ribs - twice - in the last 5 years. 1st time I slammed the deck full face down - at maximum speed. 2nd time - my fall was 'cushioned' by a coffee table (which turned me over and led to spinal injuries).
So I don't just wear socks these days.
"Sensible shoes" are essential.
