Why do you really answer questions on yahoo answers ?!
Question: Is it for the points (competition ) or to really help someone ?
I do it sometimes, just for fun ( especially when I see someone posting a question as a fun question ) but most of the time, I try to share my experiences with those that really need an outside point of view. I just hope my advice helps those in need .
I am NOT worried about points at all....I ask enough questions to practically knock my points in the head.

No question about it. I wouldn't be here without the points.
I do it to help someone or for the fun of it.

I do like the points and do hope that my answers can be helpful to those who ask the questions but that is really it I just think that it is fun.
I found YA by accident once last fall, then forgot about it. Then, somehow, I got a question or something that lead me to the board. Now I am addicted, but working on breaking the addiction.
I have a great deal of knowledge about many things. I'm an editor and a writer as well. I try to help where I can, but sometimes with questions like, "Are we there yet?" I get caught up into a fantasy world.
I'm a Gemini -- what do you expect? We are the first of the air signs, and communication is exceptionally important to us.
I do it becuse it is addicting gettin and giving imput, it's awsome but honestly I love the fact that I am talking to real people with with Real questions and problems.
