  • Because you didn't do it.

When you clean sumthing up that you made yourself, at least you have the satisfaction of whatever you created that made the mess. when you clean sumthing that you havn't made that just makes you frustrated...hope this makes sense.

I don't have a humorous (or one I think is humorous) answer, but have often wondered the same thing.

Maybe it's because people are dumb atthess.

because your heart's not in it...

Because you didn't do the mess. Its seems so much harder when you aren't the creater.

ppft, i wouldn't pick it up...

Is the mess a virus ? Or a glass of spilled milk ? Are the lights on or off? Give me my pressure washer . ~~***~~ Done ! :)

do you mean a real mess or is it metaphoric??
Real mess, umm, not yours to deal w/really but has to be done.
Metaphorically? The ego, reasons why and the true effort it takes to understand it all.

i don't know... but after 20-plus years it has totally burnt me out and from now on they can clean up after their own damn selves.

because since you didn't do it, you don't know where to start.
