Question: take advantage of you because you're the only one without kids. Like you're the one to close, or having to work on all the holidays "there's no school" That's such crap.

NO. I work with very nice people. They treat me very good.

I don't have any kids & I don't feel that way at work.
When I didn't have kids I felt that way all the time! Now that I have a daughter, I keep that in mind, and I have back-up childcare if something happens to my regular sitter, or if school is cancelled. My husband and I take turns, also, for illnesses, etc. I take vacation or personal time for school plays, etc.-so I think that's fair-that way I don't take 'extra time'. Sometimes emergencies do come up-and they do with childless people too-but I try to remember how I felt, and be courteous to my coworkers so I don't hurt anyone or tick anyone off. I work late, and pick up extra shifts, too-so hopefully that helps as well.
