Why do my parents hate me?!
Question: My mom will like totally not buy me tickets to the Hawthorne Heights concert, and I'm like totally peeved. That band totally saved my life, I mean seriously. I'm her child. My dad doesn't even tell her to buy them for me! Why does she hate me so much?

to the one below me that wants a car here is a concept... get a job.... if you worked and earned 1/2 i bet they would help with the other half. If not oh well...... you get what you work for in this cold world.
Omg I feel the same. My parents won't buy me a car! I mean just a car for god's sake. You'd think they'd be appreciative that I'm not one of those teenagers who's just so materialistic. I'm my parents kid too! I car would totally change my life too! I'd be more independent. I mean come on the car wouldn't even be for me! It'll be for me to run THEIR errands! And my dad just agrees with my mom! They despise me...I must've been a mistake!!!
Your parents don't hate you! Maybe there's a good reason why your mum isn't buying you the tickets :)
Thats not a good enough reason to think or for me to suspect that they hate you. Now if you were abused, then thats some hate on their part.

they don't hate you they're smart parents who don't want to spoil you when you grow up and come to understand how difficult it is to earn money or even better yet raise children then you understand.
