It does hurt my ego, but that only until I get off from my high horse. Then I realize that walking a mile in their mocassins will teach me something I was not aware of.

That usually never happens because I'm very open minded and always say "but I could be wrong" after all my opinions unless in debate class or when I really need people to believe me.
I used to be really stuburn and would never admit I was wrong but now I'm known by my friends for being very modest and understanding.
