How do you choose a best answer for one of your questions??!

You have to wait a minimum of four hours before you can select a best answer. That is to allow time for you to get more answers. When that time span goes by, there will be a message by your question that says, "select best answer".
At that time, you can also rate the answers in stars, and also add comments about how you liked the answer and thank the answerer.

i think you just go to it and there should be a button above each answer that says choose for best answer.
The best answer belongs to the person who thoughtfully answered your question, correctly.

Choose the answer that is exactly what you were looking for, or something that was funny or original. If it's a serious question, give it to the person who took the most time to answer...and came closest to what helped you the most.
Wait until the time for answering is almost up, and buttons will show up at each answer for you to pick the one you want.

As en camera said....you have to wait a certain length of time - like 24 hours or something like that. Then when you go back to your question, it will show you a button that say CHOSE BEST ANSWER. Then you just decide which answer you like the best and push that button. You then have to rate the answer and give a reason why you picked it.
If you wait too long (like more than 3 days) it goes to voting. Even then you can still pick best answer. But then at some point after a week or so, the votes are counted and a best answer is selected by others.
There is a bar under each answer that says "Choose as Best Answer". When you have made up your mind which answer you like best, just click on that. That's all there is to it. I also like to give "Thumbs Up" (also a choice under each answer) for all answers that I thought were good before I choose Best Answer. To me, I appreciate the time and thought a person has taken to answer my question and the "Thumbs Up" is just my way of saying thanks.
