Question: Who gets best answer when there are like 2,000 answers??
Surely someone doesn't have the time to read allllll of those answers. Do they???

Well, Yahoo! is supposed to read it all... SUPPOSED TO... we'll never know whether they just read the answers from the first two pages or whether they really do read everything.
As for me, if I got 2,000 answers, I would read every one. Not all at once, of course, but I would read every one and not pick a Best Answer until I do. The answers on the first page aren't necessarily the best ones... they might actually be the worst because the later answerers probably answered with greater detail (or they're just slower typers... we'll never know).
By the way, here's a question with 2,000 + answerers... I'm on the first page :-)

I have had over 100 answers to a question of mine before and I read them ALL. And believe me I didn't jut pick the best answer off the first page. Other people probably just pick off the first page or put it to voting.
