What is your earliest memory?!

Question: Mine was at my first birthday. My mom made me a doll cake (with the barbie doll sticking out the top and the cake was her skirt). I remember grabbing a handful of frosting and smearing it all over my face trying to get it in my mouth.

I remember lots of things before this, but it was my most memorable...I was 5 and acting my age for sure, but I locked myself in my aunt's bathroom (I knew how to undo the lock, but chose not to). My parents wanted to leave, I didn't. When they finally got the lock picked and opened the door, I got it bad! I remember being extremely embarrassed. So badly, in fact, it hurt me square in the heart. I felt ridiculous. This is the strongest memory I have from being little, probably because it had such an emotional attachment with it...weirder yet, why does she still have it?!?!

However, I do remember screaming and crying because of dreams I used to have of a clown when I was still a baby, it reoccurred in my dreams (so I thought) and once in a great while still does...I remember not being able to move or get away. I was telling her of the dream and what I saw/see when I have it and she pulled the lamp out of storage and asked "a clown face like this?". Turns out my mother had bought a new lamp with a clown face on it. When the lamp was on, the face glowed...scary stuff, I'll tell ya. Weird how I remember it as being a dream, but it was reality...

I remember when I was 3 and I kept on clinging to my dad's leg. I remember tugging at his shirt. It was at my birthday party. I had a Sonic and Knuckles cake that I shared with my brother since our birthday's are a week and 3 years apart.

my earliest memory is my 4th birthday, jumping on my bed waiting to go inside the kitchen to see my cake.

I distinctly remember being carried up the stairs by my Uncle Johnny when I fell asleep in the car on the way home. Had to have been pretty young, to be carried like that. I must have woken up a little, and then fell back to sleep.

The earlier memory that I know how old I was, was at age 2. There are, however, some vague memories for which I don't know my age, so possibly earlier.

Falling on an iron

Grandpa & Grandma were having a family photo taken in their home. About 20 kids and grandkids were included.

I remember standing there, and this guy kept flashing this bright light at us (the flash on the camera). I was 2-1/2 at the time.

my mums shoes and her legs were soooooo long (mini skirts were the fashion then)

I can remember being in my Grandmothers house when I was less than 18 months old. I told my mother that once and she didn't believe me until I described the house in detail. I was able to tell her the layout of the rooms, where the doors were and even the old well pump outside the back door. She was amazed because my Grandmother moved out of that house when I was about 1 1/2 years old.

My earliest memory would be when I was like 2 or 3, and two of my neighbors came over, (they were like 12) and they sat me down, and covered my face with makeup! They didn't even ask, but I was only 2 or 3 so I don't think they'd listen to little kid!
