The army is the most dangerous of the three. They are the backbone of the US military and must storm the front of the enemy. Really dangerous.
The navy is relatively safe unless you're in a naval battle which is deadly. Also, anyone can come up and blow your ship up.
The airforce is the least deadly as you are in the sky and it's impossible to get shot down over in Iraq unless it's some high tec SAM.
All are dangerous, but the navy and air force are the best bets.
Air Force... you most likely wont be in combat
But in the Air Force its a bit harder to get a good career(you need to work harder)
It kind of depends on you

army - i dont like it, too xcomplicated to explain why
air force - takes a great deal of time and skill
navy - safest, easy, something i would do if i ahd to choose
depends what u are after, we are all on the same side in the end. they all have their pros and cons
Air Force! <3 not trying to be mean or anything but its harder work and having lots of intelligence! not that any other person in any other branch is not smart because I respect all the military people!

Navy
Navy. We sit a few miles off shore (in the AC) and lob missiles at a target somewhere inland. A ship can't be shot out of the air, and sailors don't storm the beach.

Navy i personally think is the safest! Yes they still are being sent to Iraq (every branch but the Coast Guard is going there!) but most orders are ship duty or state side (Granted my BF is in Japn for 2 years).
Army is pretty tough, if you're looking for safe and easy I wouldnt recommend it.
A.F. gets a bad rap sheet b/c they get nice living conditions and great food, but the AF is very much so over in the Middle East and working hard! All branches are important and in the end all ranks no matter what service you go in gets the same amount of pay- so thats something to consider!
SAFEST would be Coast Guard though- go 10 miles off the coast of the US and thats your job to protect! ... Coasties are always kinda fat too! You can tell they have little P.T. and have it pretty easy (But i still love Coasties!!)

I hate to put down any part of our US Military thats why I never do they are all great and they all do their part.
My dad is in the army and in Iraq as we speak.
They all have pros and cons and are equally as dangerous
Air Force, Because planes are cool.
Air Force.... I loved it.
Chances are good, you'd never see combat.
