Just depends. In some movies he is gorgeous...(Pirates, Whats eating Gilbert Grape)

In others he looks horrible (Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissor Hands)

I think without all the make up he is a decent looking guy, but sometimes it makes him or breaks him.

Quite hot, just not so much 5 years back. He has definately gained his hotness over the years. Especially the Pirates movies. He was a total cutie in those!
