I dont think it is, nor will we ever achieve it. People now a days are WAY to close-minded to accept others differences.
I'm giving best answer to the person who backs up their opinion with a explaination of why they think it is/isn't possible.

I also think that it is impossible but I have never seen a reason not to shoot for the stars. Make your goals high and aim even higher to get where you want in life. But I also believe in the saying "if you want peace prepare for war". There are alot of idiotic individuals who believe that strapping bombs to themselves are getting them 72 virgins in the afterlife...But no one ever said if it was men or women...Ha...idiots.

No, world peace is a dream because a lot of people do not accept the concept of evil. Evil does exist thus world peace will never be. The fight between the good and the evil will always be.

It's human nature, unfortunately, to act out in violence whether it be for understandable reasons, for no reason at all. This is all "we" know, so instead of getting better everything is just going to get worst until we kill each other and the human race will no longer exist.

Yes it is. If people could only have much more compassion for their fellow man and not be caught up in the materialism that society has to cope with.
There are too many people in this world that have hate instilled within them and this of course leads to defeatism for too long politicians and the like have said how they want to change things how they've got our best interests this is why we don't believe anymore and why no one feels world peace is possible.
In short everything is possible - but whether it is achievable is something else entirely.

And with the ever decreasing level of intelligence among humans. . . it gets more and more unlikely everyday!!! Just take a look as society's biggest cancer. . . THE RAP CULTURE!!! You couldn't put 5 of these thug scumbucket no talent losers in a room without one of them killing each other!! Look a half a six pack shakur or whatever his gay name was and Fat Slob Biggy Scumbucket or whatever his name was. . . . they had each other killed because they have the intelligence of a 3 year old and a 5 year old.
