I don't mean to sound mean, or cheap, and I love, and appreciate my wife, but I feel that Valentines day is nothing more than a commercialized gimmick, to make everybody feel like they need to give more stuff to their spouse which they they really won't remember in the next week anyways. So what I did is cleaned the house, top to bottom, and told her when I could afford to get her something,whatever it might be I would get for her. Other then that, I don't think that my wife needs any more chocolate or roses which will be dead in a week, and as for cards no matter how romantic, end up being nothing but trash. Can't my wife just know that I love her without all of the materialistic stuff which just eventually ends up in the landfill anyways? For instance, every single day the man bends over backwards to prove that the woman is appreciated. "But no" there just has to be one more day in which a woman can use against a man in case they just happen to not get them the right gift , I say to you woman, give it up. men give enough just for the fact that we put up with your crazy antics, can't you just be grateful for the fact that he's not out cheating on you with with some tramp.?
