well, i think "lol" & "rotflol" are just a flash in the pan, they won't last longer than a minnute (you know what I mean, not literally a minute, but yeah)

When I type "lol", I am usually laughing in real life. I never say "lmao" because I'm not laughing my *** off. Obviously, that' impossible.

No. "lol", "rofl", "lmao", they're all hyperboles. (extreme exaggerations)
You're acronym doesn't have to be true, they're just phrases we've all grown accustomed to. Everyone knows that when you "lmao", your butt isn't going anywhere.
