Question: funny or strange, if you saw that someone forgot the keys from their house in the lock?
Apparently my neighbor makes such a huge fuss of it, I had a tiring morning and I forgot about my keys... she called me like 5 times trying to tell me about it and she acts as if it's the end of the world... or I'm on the verge of senility...
How do you react in such a situation?

I would not find it funny or strange..
I have left my keys in my door before , and my son has too , and I do get really upset ..
I live in the city, and I trust no one , that stuff really does worry me..
I am sure your neighbor was just really worried for your safety ..
maybe she was a little too worried , but I would be thankful she was watching .

I would laugh and tell her it's my keys, my stuff, if she was worried, she could go to my door, take them out and keep them safe for me.

i actually be calm... im a pretty calm person... but disapointed in myself... and trying to get into my house...

We never lock our house so it is not a problem.
ask her to go check and see if the door is locked and hold them till you get home, if she is that concerned. It's not like you left the keys to her house out there.

I would just tell her thank you and leave it at that. If you feel comfortable with letting her do so, maybe you could ask her to pull the keys out and set them under your doormat if you have one, or somewhere else they can be hidden until you get home.

Tell her Thank you and that you are glad to know you have such an observant neighbor, but at least you didin't forget your bra (lol). that should shut her up!
I have done that too and did not find them until the next day, but you should be happy she seems to care about you
I'd ask her to go in and see if everything is OK and if it is a mess could she please clean it. I know mine would be a mess
