Question: Who do you consider to be queens or the founders of rock music?
The names that come to mind for me are the lead singer of Jefferson Airplane (idk her name); Janis Joplin and Veronica Bennett (Ronnie of the Ronettes). Later singers would be Shirley Manson, Courtney Love and the girl from the Cranberries. I dont consider soul, R & B rock so please dont include them
