Do you find that 'patterns' stick more in your mind than numbers/letters!

Question: At work I have lots of passwords to remember, and I just tried to type one in using only one hand ~ didn't want to put that Tazo Zen tea down ~ and COULDN'T!! Had to use both hands because it's a every-other-hand keystroke kinda thing.... Ditto getting in the door at work - I *might* not be able to tell you the numbers, but I know the pattern....

What does this mean, all you budding parapsychologists?

What it means, dear, is that we all remember stuff using whatever works for each of us.

To show you where my mind is, in the past, some of my (no longer active) passwords have contained such drivels as rc21 (Roberto Clemente wore uniform #21), ml66 (that would be Mario Lemieux), jl58 (Jack Lambert), and the incomprehensible string IXxXIIIxiv (since my Steelers won Super Bowls IX, X, XIII and XIV....I guess if I use that again, I'll have to add XL also).

One track mind? Guilty as charged.
