I can't think of a rock or pop concert I have been to live....but I have been to many classical music concerts....and performed in many choral concerts and various school concerts.

Elton John (the BEST!), Atlanta Rhythm Section, Ferrante & Teicher, Starbuck, New Kids on the Block, Sonny & Cher, the Carpenters, Barbara Mandrell, Roy Clark, Ray Stevens, the Drifters, and more....... as you can see, I've going to concerts for 30 years!!!

Sure have! I went to one last night. You could best typify my musical interests as eclectic. Last night it was Merle Haggard - it's amazing that he's still such an entertainer. Before that it was the tour of Oh Brother Where Art Thou in which a friend performed. Before that it was Brian Setzer, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Joan Jett and numerous classical music concerts and recitals. One of my all time favorite concerts was B.B. King and Bobby Blue Bland - outstanding!
I tend to like music that has a narrative but that doesn't always mean it has to have words/lyrics. Some of the most lyrical music I've heard has no words whatsoever.
I used to plan my life around which band was playing which weekend. I'm somewhat more selective now.
