I did when I was younger, before I learned that this was my problem & not the problem of those around me. Once I realized that, I went to work on my own attitude & fears & now I don't get too hostile anymore because I've learned to reach out to others & let them in to my private world.

But not " because of " the fact that I was shy or private....

Hehehe, all the time! To get by in this world we simply have to reveal parts of ourselves that we don't want to, at times. I also tend to become frustrated because it's hard for me to reveal myself and actually make sense to others...
