Have you ever laughed at a very inappropriate time?!

Question: Is that not the worst!?

Answers: Is that not the worst!?

I'm the kinda guy who laughs at a funeral... Barenaked Ladies lyrics.

I'm so afraid of laughing at inappropriate times that it makes me do it all the more. It's devastating!

yep

Yeah but I just can't seem to help myself :)

yes i have

oh yes...
it was in a meeting with a client.....

I'm SO GOOD at that. I can't help but laugh during violent scenes in movies.

Yes. Worst is when mum is angry and my brother and I can't stop laughing uncontrollably.

haha yea...i tend to do that alot~

Yeah it really sucks... i have a problem with that.

yes! one time i started to laugh when someone was talking about their grandpa having cancer. someone said something funny to me. whoops!

Yes.
Many times. ;)
When you know you are not supposed to laugh, it just makes it worse and harder to contain or stop! lol
?

Yes , throughout my whole wedding ceremony. We just had our 6 year wedding anniversary. Still laughing.

Once my school was showing pictures of old men and one looked like Jesus and about half of the hall gasped

I couldn't control myself

strangely and sickeningly enough, it is also the best. I call it the church shakes.

yes i laughed when my nan fell over in the street and the contents of her purse fell over the floor. She didn't hurt herself and i did help her up.

Unfortunately, yes. I broke into hysterical laughter at my father's funeral. It was totally inappropriate but then again, so was the fist fighting brawl that some of the relations initiated, so looking back on it, I think my laughter was the only way I could deal with the situation at all & still retain any sanity.

Yeah, I tend to have laughing fits when I get nervous about something. People often mistake it for me being rude....like when my friend's dad died....sheesh..so bad of me!

Yes - apparently I laughed when my MIL's bull terrier lunged at the vet. She yelled at me and I didn't even have a recollection of doing it. It was just one of those nervous things.

I also once kind-of-dated a guy who was so funny that all he had to do was open his mouth and I'd giggle. Well, he started telling me this story once and I was literally overcome. I couldn't speak, there were tears, etc. Unfortunately it was a story of his mother's operation and wasn't meant to be funny. Luckily he understood.

On a less personal level, like it says in my profile, a Coupling quote for any occasion:

The Giggle Loop
The giggle loop is the increasing urge to laugh during a moment of solemnity or silence. Jeff's standard illustration of the giggle loop is that of stacking pint glasses in a tower; each pint representing one iteration of the loop, and the eventual fall and costly breakage representing the giggler's credibility."To know about the giggle loop, is to become part of the giggle loop."

yup!!

Yep. Funeral. With my cousin. 2 hours later I was crying.

I'm very inappropriate most of the time. I don't mean to be, but I always get "that look" from people.

Yes! Today when my kids decided to decorate one of their rooms with a permanent black magic marker, I looked at my eldest child and said: "Don't you know this person?" and pointed to his younger (3 y.old) brother, as if to say, "Didn't you realize that giving him a black magic marker would only end in disaster..?"
I ended up laughing, as did my boys.
Ugh...
