This is interesting even for me these days.
I recently rescued a Walker hound that was abandoned she is also quite lame due to an untreated break in her leg. Since my Mom passed I have really missed yodelling. So I couldn't believe my ears when my new puppy Nellie started yodelling her little jowls off one night.
Now her and I sit on the top of the large snow mound and do it just for fun. The Mennonites are freaked and all the candles come on then the other dogs start in , man she really has been an inspiration.

My mom used to line us up with our hands in our pockets and she would toss table scraps at our heads in turn. Anybody that didn't catch theirs had to sit out a turn. The good ol' days....ahhh! we were poor .... but happy.
My parents liked to make me dance whenever someone commented on my cuteness, and I would say "No I'm not dancing without music!" and than my mom would start singing, and I would go about my dancing (they taught me ballroom + puerto rican style! I was such a little chacha). But I once tried to yodel and my mom told me I'd have to be in the swiss alps to do that.
My mom used to attach food to an arrow and shoot it into the woods. If you got it before the wild dogs did you'd get gravy to drink. If you didn't you'd get gravy to drink. She had sort of a sick sense of humor.
