Have you ever been touched on answers you've received?!
Question: I'm going through some terrible times right now and I feel pretty silly but usally when I ask questions, You get the few that give you answers that are sm@rt @ss and hurtfull even, when your looking for real advise about a very real problem. Have you ever been touched to the point where your so thankful for this site because of the caring , kind and supportive answers you have received that you feel warm and fuzzy inside. And do know this is a silly side of me question guys so blast away. Because I know there is going to be some funnys on fuzzy and Men.

Mmmm only by a few, mostly you...lol and I find more dingleberries in the R&S section more than anywhere else, but mostly the non serious answers just amuse me. None have the power to hurt me and none offend me (so far). In all my 10 years of internet communication I've found wonderful, exceptionally loving and intelligent people mixed with the obnoxiously inane. It truly is like a can of mixed nuts...some are absolutely your favorites while the others end up at the bottom of the can. Of course this is a true reflection of life even in families...some you just naturally love more than others because you wonder how the black sheep ever came through the same DNA channel you did. I'm still an over sensitive woman, but I have learned through overcoming hardship to hone my sense of humor razor sharp and to wisely dull the edge of my anger and immediate hurt reactions. I'm much happier for it and wish I could teach it to everyone that is wound up with excess emotion. My problem is that I always wanted to be liked by everyone and now I don't care if I am or not. That's the true key...I love myself and think I'm a wonderful person and God does too, so what matter if no one else does? Well...lol...it helps that my husband does...makes the marriage thing easier. Big Pamibear hugs to you. Me. ^_^ XOXO
I know just what you're saying! :) especially when they're guys, i think it's adorable when they show sympathy and feeling. Unlike a few that I know.
i know exactly what you mean...there have been times when reading the advice or comments ive received have really made me grateful that there are still some wonderful people in the world
not necessarily on this yahoo answer thing.. but yes the random person will come along with some feedback that will almost set me in bliss
Yes, when i was going threw my divorce i had some hard times and looked to Yahoo for some advice and i had a lot of emails from random people looking to see how i was doing each day...That really made my day.
I have been going through a hard time too and I am amazed by how few smart@ss answers I get
90% of the answers have been really sensitive and helpful. Amazing when you think about it because the potential for internet trolls is huge
It has restored my faith in human nature to think that 90% of the people out there have a good heart

I have really been touched by some amazing people on here. I've also had some real jerks who get reported.
I understand this site has users from around the world so there's going to be people who don't share the same views and such so I try not to take it personally.
I have asked questions and most of the answers I get are very good and caring.
When you're having a bad day or really do need good advice the last thing you need is someone insulting you or making the situation worse.
I'm sorry you're having a rough patch right now, but you'll get through it and it'll only make you a stronger person :)
It all depends on which categories you post your question into. If it's serious answers that you are looking for try not to post them at Polls & Survey. There are too many smart azs around here , me included,,,,
As for me, I don't post serious questions, neither am I looking for one,,,,Choose carefully & God bless , you'll get the answers you seek,,,
yes, i have been touched by some of the replies that i have
received and you are correct you will get some cruel and
unkind comments from a small per centage of people. i
complimented one persons question and he sent me an
insult when he saw one of mine, this all happened within a
couple of minutes. i wish you well and God Bless you.
So far people who have answered my questions are polite. AND I THANK THEM FOR THAT. Next time you post a question...add something like no silly resposes or something like that maybe those ppl would lay off...and im sorry if some ppl are a**holes.
I've been touched by some questions but I also question if those people are just making it up....You never know here but I must admit that there were questions that are so absurd that I come on too strong and I tell them to wise up...
When the question is serious, I always try to give serious answers. Some people have made a difference for me here and I hope I have done the same.
