Poll: Do you think world peace will ever be possible?!
Question: I mean, it seems like there will always be a struggle between two groups, whether it be religion, politics, etc. Even right here in our home and towns. People are arguing that one band are posers, and another band isn't. And theirs the whole scene and poser thing going on, epsecillay in high school, but even goes on with older people sometimes. So fo you think world peace will ever be possible? There seems to be alot of arguing over senseless things and there are agurments that are not senseless but will never be peacefully settled.

Peace comes from resolution
Resolution comes from conflict
Conflict comes from misunderstanding
Misunderstanding comes from mistrust
Mistrust comes from ignorance
Ignorance is unlimited
Therefore, peace for humans is impossible.
I don't think it's possible. The world will end because of mans stupidity.
plain and simple, no. that doesnt mean i dont want peace, i just dont think its realistic to think that all fighting will cease. completely.
No, there have been wars/arguments since the beginning of time. It would be impossible to stop now.

Yeah right worlds fighting people killing each other people arguing about stupid pointless things i'm pretty sure everyone is looking for peace but i don't think we will ever have it sadly.
there will never be world peace because human and animal nature is to be selfish for survival - there will always be a few countries/people/powers - whatever - that will dominate others - this is the way that life is. what is wrong is the rules of society which totally work against what human nature is. if we were to change these rules and accept that everyone will act selfishly, then perhaps we will achieve some variation on world peace - not happy, hand-holding, peace-love-and-harmony, kind of peace, but coexistence.

Honestly, I dont think it's possible. I think there will be times when the world seems more peacful and happy. But there are millions of problems about everything. Can you imagine a time when there wont be ANYONE on earth that disagrees with anybody else? Probably not. Because the chances of that happening are like 0 in many billions!
However I do think partial world peace will be possible...a time when ratial discrimination does not play a big role, when nations vow to work together as a team to combat global warming (or whatever)...

I diffidently don't think it's possible. If we have not achieved it in the thousands of years we've already been on here, then why would it be happening any time soon? There are too many cultures, to many opinions and too may people that would rebel. Quite Franky, I don't even want there to be world peace, I think that it would be rather boring.

The world is at peace ( people aren't) People take thing to serious and get offended . Things like religion, polotics Race, or whatever. If someone says something they don't agree with tell them don't just flip out

The only way it'll happen is if something catastrophic happens that affects the whole planet equally......and we have to band together to overcome it.
Only in bits and pieces, and only in some areas. It's not a realistic goal. Whether it's sensible or not isn't even the point. Read through some world history and you'll get an inkling of what I mean.
