Most of the time it scares me to death but it's so wonderful that i would never want to lose it, it's being willing to do almost anything necessary for that person w/o expecting it in return.

Thomas Aquinas defined love as "willing the good of another."
I'd have to disagree with his definition though. I can will the good of another, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I'm willing to give of myself in order to help someone achieve that good.
So my definition of love would be not only willing the good of another but also the willingness to *sacrifice* for another. THAT is what love means to me.

love is a great power when u are ready to do anything for the one u love , and a great weakness when u can not live without that one , it is the ability to forgive but not to forget , u love and hate seeing the one u love sad or hurt , it is a random feeling , it makes u sad , happy , angry , jealous weak strong , still u can not live without it.

and stay by yourside well i think that there is nothing
else that can seperate the two. Most people will leave you when you betray them, or when you sleep with another person, or when you abuse them, and even when you lie to them, but the most important thing to me is getting to the bottom of things and find our why they betrayed, slept with another person, lied, or abused them, sometimes they are the ones that need more love than we do. But we tend to get those bad people out of our lives. But when you CAN get passed those mistakes and get to the real problem and still be with that person ........... then you know it can be Love.
~ And that to me is True love, seeing beyond the bad and being able to still love that person.

Love is an abstract feeling that can grow or die. You just have to treat it well, and then it will grow stronger. But if you don't play attention to it, it will die. Love is kind of like a rose.
